Booked 2 rooms and confirmed stay 48hrs prior. Arrived at the hotel around 2pm and was told that they had no reservations for us and that the hotel was undergoing renovations. Also they stated that they no longer had any affiliation with Booking.com. So we were left with scouring the nearest hotel to see if we could get a booking... Please explain why we had to confirm 48 hrs prior and STILL no advise that this hotel was undergoing renovations
